Bloom'in Spring All Day Craft Event

The Bloom'in Spring Spectacular All Day Event was held at the weekend and what a turnout we had. Lots of sunshine smiles for a day of crafting.

None of the ladies knew what they were to expect from the day, as it's always a day of surprises.

These are just a few of the table favour bags that the ladies arrived to and this was what they were going to create ...

… a Card Box complete with three packets of cards, a journal and some packaging embellishments.

I had completed a similar project at Convention in Brussels last November and loved the concept, so Sharon and I recreated our version of the Card Box, using three different stamp sets to showcase to our ladies.

Sheltering Trees was a delight to design with and I absolutely loved playing with this set. This photo is quite pale, but hopefully you can see them.

I love how this stamp set can be used for many a season … in soft Spring/Summer colours, or bold Autumn/Winter.

My Upline, Sharon, designed this beautiful Painted Petals set, which I think have a very pretty, soft vintage feel to them … so feminine and delicate, just like the girl herself.

The last set we pulled together using Crazy About You and the coordinating Framelits. A fun table of stamping, punching and die cutting, again in soft hues.

Many of the colours we used were retiring In Colours, Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe, both of which we loved and wanted to showcase for one last time, but we coupled them with Sahara Sand, So Saffron, So Sky and my much favoured Naturals White, which again is sadly retiring.

It was a fun day of crafting, chatting, enjoying cake and biscuits and even some singing.

We always like to add an Inspiration Table, to show a few other projects that we've both been up to.

Now … The question on everyone's lips by the end of the day was …. "When is the next one"? Well, watch this space.

So? Which was your favourite Stamp Set of these?
